5 Days from Marrakech to Fes and Merzouga Desert Tour

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi N’tichka Pass -Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Marrakech Fes Desert Tour 5 days, Pick up at 07:30 A.M.Drive to Ouarzazate via High Atlas mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pass while enjoying superb views of the mountains and Berber Villages. We’ll stop to capture photos and enjoy the cool air.

After lunch at local restaurant in Tichka, Continue drive to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah where families still living in fortified Ksar. We’ll have free time to discover this natural decorated Kasbah which has been the backdrop for many movies shot in this attractive area like: “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Mummy”… We’ll stroll and cross a dry river to discover Ait Benhaddou Kasbahs. Continue to your Riad in Ouarzazate where you’ll spend your night/dinner.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Kelaa M’gouna – Valley of Roses – Dades Gorges – Boumalne – Tineghir – Todra Gorges

In the morning Following breakfast in the hotel, Leave Ouarzazate to Skoura where we’ll visit the Kasbah of Amredil, a beautiful Kasbah situated in the palm groves “Route of one thousand Kasbahs”.

Later, continues through the Rose Valley and cross the off-road with a quick visit to the nomad family living in caves. Then Dades gorges and watches the rock formations.

After that, together we head to Boulmane Dades for Lunch in local Restaurant.

Afternoon, continue to Tineghir town then Todra Gorges in order to enjoy its amazing views of Canyons.

Dinner /overnight in hotel/riad.

Day 3: Todra Gorges – Tinejdad – Touroug town – Erfoud – Boulmane Dades (Merzouga)

On 3Th of Marrakech Fes Desert Tour 5 days, This morning, you will walk around the Palm Plantations and enjoy the panoramic views of Todra River. Later on, we drive toward Tinjedad for a lunch meal on a local restaurant. Later you will pass by several villages such us Touroug (Berber village) and El-Jarf before reaching Erfoud. You will visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive to the hotel for overnight/ dinner and breakfast.

Day 4: Merzouga – Desert Tour and Camel Trekking experience

Following Breakfast, at Hotel/riad, we’ll enjoy our day with 4*4 Excursion. Drive through sand dunes stop to watch nomadic tents in addition to a visit a nomadic family and drink with them a cup of tea where we’ll discover what a nomadic, Berber culture, tradition and life look like.

We’ll have together an enjoyable excursion to the town of Rissani to watch Kasbah. Lunch with a traditional meal Moroccan pizza « Madfouna »

Back to the hotel to relax and be ready for an enjoyable experience “camel trekking”. You’ll trek by camel (an hour and a half ) to Sahara desert camp where we’ll have dinner under starry sky watching a spectacular Moroccan Berber show around the fire pit. (Overnight under desert tent).

Day 5: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midlet – Azrou – Fes

arly morning enjoy Sun rising in Merzouga Desert by camel riding back to hotel /riad for Breakfast.

08:30H Depart to Fes, passing through Rissani discovering the culture, traditional way of life of this town. In Addition to visit Zawiya Moulay Ali Ash-Sharif, dramatic Ziz valley, and another Stop at Dam el Hassan AL-Awal.

Have lunch in Medilt at a local restaurant. Continue through Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at the attractive cedar forest to enjoy time with the Barbary ape (Monkeys) leaping from higher trees branches, fresh air…Moving to Ifrane” Morocco Switzerland”, Azrou village with a visit to local nomads live only in a cave. Drink mint tea with them to learn more about their way of life and have information about their culture and Morocco Berber history.

Finally, arrival Fez transfer to Hotel/Riad. End of Marrakech Fes Desert Tour 5 days.
