Today we will leave Fez towards Todra Gorges and we pass through Ifrane,which is considered the best small town in north Africa . It has Moroccan style built by the French with Swiss village style. We enjoy landscape of the Middle Atlas – we pass the cedars forest near Azrou and we will drive through many Berber villages. We explore Midelt and Imilchil. Later today we reach Todra Gorges and we stay in Todra Gorges for diner and overnight in a local hotel.
After breakfast we will have a short walk in Todra Gorge. Then we head towards Merzouga crossing Ziz valley through Tinjdad, Erfoud and Rissani. Here we stop for lunch for “Pizza Berber”. After we get to Merzouga we ride camels to the dunes of the Erg-Chebbi and we will enjoy the beauty of the sunset. We will reach desert camp to spend night in a Berber tent. After dinner there will be a camp fire and drums music by nomad locals. We spend this night in Berber tents.
Today in the morning we get up early to take a walk over the sand dunes and watch the sunrise. Then we ride camels back to the hotel in Merzouga village and after breakfast we’ll drive back to Fes .
