Day Trips to Ouarzazate, We will drive from Marrakech towards Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou passing through the Tiz ´n Tichka (2260 m). We will visit the Kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou. Ait Ben Haddou is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and several films have been filmed here – Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Mummy (1999), and Gladiator (2000). You will have a free program to discover this kasbah on your own walking narrow streets.
Then we drive to Ouarzazate where we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and Tifoultoute which are old residences of Glaoui, the former Pasha of Marrakech. After lunch, in a local restaurant, we will visit the film studios. Then we drive back to Marrakech crossing Tizi N’Tichka (2260m Alt).
