4 Days from Marrakech to Fes and Merzouga Desert

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi N’tichka Pass -Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Marrakech Fes Desert Tour 4 Days, Pick up at 07:30 A.M. Drive to Ouarzazate via High Atlas mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pass while enjoying superb views of the mountains and Berber Villages. We’ll stop to capture photos and enjoy the cool air.

After lunch at local restaurant in Tichka, Continue drive to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah where families still living in fortified Ksar. We’ll have free time to discover this natural decorated kasbah which has been the backdrop for many movies shot. In this attractive area like: “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Mummy”…, we’ll stroll and cross a dry river to discover Ait Benhaddou Kasbahs. Continue to your Riad at Ouarzazate where you’ll spend your night/dinner.

DAY 2: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga.

After breakfast around 09.00 am leave to Merzouga desert Passing through impressive castles–Valley of Roses and Dades valley – beautiful valleys in the south.

We’ll Visit Kelaat Mgouna city which celebrates yearly on May festival of roses. With your professional driver, you’ll meet locals and see natural rose water products.

Next, Continue to valley Todra at the entrance of Gorges Tineghir where we’ll stop to discover the place. Have information about history, culture, tradition…

lunch at a chic local restaurant at Todra gorges.

Leave to Merzouga many stops to capture memorable photos and enjoy the attractive views.

On arrival, to Merzouga transfer to hotel/riad for dinner /night.

Day 3: Merzouga – Desert Tour and Camel Trekking experience

Following Breakfast, at Hotel/riad. We’ll enjoy our day with 4*4 Excursion, Drive through sand dunes stop to watch nomadic tents. In addition to, a visit to a nomadic family to drink with them a cup of tea where we’ll discover what a nomadic and Berber culture, tradition and life look like.

We’ll have together an enjoyable excursion to the town of Rissani to watch Kasbah.

Lunch with traditional meal Moroccan pizza « Madfouna »

Back to hotel to relax and be ready for a unique experience “camel trekking”

Then, Drive by camel (around 45min ) to Sahara desert camp where we’ll have dinner under starry sky watching a spectacular Moroccan Berber show around a central fire pit. (Overnight under desert tent).

Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midlet – Azrou – Fes

On the 4th day of, Marrakech Fes Desert Tour 4 Days, Early morning, enjoy Sun rising in Merzouga Desert and camel riding back to hotel /riad for Breakfast.

08:30H Depart to Fes, passing through Rissani discovering the culture, traditions, and way of life of this town. In Addition to, visiting Zawiya Moulay Ali Ash-Sharif, dramatic Ziz valley, and another Stop at Dam el Hassan AL-Awal.

Have lunch in Midelt at the local cafe.

Continue through Middle Atlas Mountains. Stopping at the attractive forest of cedar to enjoy time with the Barbary ape (Monkeys) leaping from higher trees branches, fresh air…Moving to Ifrane” Morocco Switzerland”, Azrou village with a visit to local nomads lives only in a cave. You’ll have mint tea with them to learn more about their way of life .Besides, have information about their culture and Morocco Berber history.

Finally, arrival Fez transfer to Hotel/Riad. End of Marrakech Fes Desert Tour 4 Days.
